Lagonda is now a nameplate associated with Aston Martin; even though the two companies' histories have been closely intertwined for the past half century, Lagonda was once an independent marque whose creations rivaled those from Crewe and Newport Pagnell. The marque's historical models are rare on any side of the pond now, but every once in a while we see one of its cars make a grand entrance. Ferrari looks at layoffs, cuts back production

We guess it's not all GTOs and 458 Italias. The word out of Italy is that Ferrari is looking at cutting production and eliminating 9 percent of its workers after sister company Maserati cut engine orders. Ferrari made only about 4,500 engines for Maserati last year, compared with nearly 9,000 in 2008.
